Responsibilities

  • Assist to develop and execute a strategy to expand merchant acceptance base for e-payments both offline and online
  • Hunt for new as well as support existing Acquiring Partners (Acquirers, Master Merchant Acquirers or External Sales Agents) to develop and grow merchants base (offline and online) in the merchant categories critical to the overall strategy and objectives as determined by the Management
  • Build deep and strategic relationships with Acquiring Partners and merchants to drive greater market share as well as provide the necessary support to manage Partners and merchants
  • Develop acceptance and drive usage across all new merchant acceptance segments by creating focused efforts to build and communicate compelling offerings using promotional deals, vouchers, etc.; and be measured by retention, profitability, revenue growth, and merchant satisfaction
  • Primary POC for Acquiring Partners as well as facilitate liaison with internal Implementation, Solutioning, and Tech team as required to support the Partners
  • Negotiate Partner contracts and support pricing strategy

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma.
  • Experience in e-payments acquiring either online or offline is a definite plus
  • Demonstrate initiative and drive in winning and getting the job done with the confidence and flair to present and pitch sales
  • Proven track record and result-oriented with minimum 5 years of Partnership management, acquiring, merchant sales experience (i.e. merchant engagements with both physical and digital merchants and the commercials driving this space
  • Progressive business experience with demonstrated success of driving profitable business growth
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the business and manage the C-suite level
  • Able to multi-task and work in a startup and fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently or in a team and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to identify issues before they develop into problems; proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate partners
